Propaganda is a form of brainwashing

Propaganda is a form of brainwashing. Germany used many forms of propaganda during WWII to convince the German people that their country needed to go to war. They constantly reminded the Germans of the hardships the country had gone through economically and socially through radio, posters and media. Researchers who examined interwar propaganda found that is was extremely powerful and persuasive to those who were exposed to it. Media had a huge impact on the opinions of the people of the different countries involved in the wars. If it were not for the messages and ideas being sent out by authorities, people's mindsets would be different and the wars may not have happened because of protest to the idea.
